Brazilian astronaut meets ACS-100 Sora during a visit to ACS

07-Fev-2007

The ACS team had the glad surprise of meeting the Brazilian astronaut, Marcos César Pontes. The astronaut has visited the ACS´s dependencies and met our new product, the sport aircraft ACS-100 Sora. He could try the experience of flying the Sora, by "flying" the Sora’s mock-up.

Marcos Pontes liked very much the product and make promises of using his knowledge and influences to establish contacts with North American aerospace companies.

The ACS-100 Sora is a light sport aircraft that was launched during the Expo Aero Brasil 2006. The Expo Aero Brasil 2006 happened in last October in Araras, São Paulo. The first airplane is already being assembled and the first flights will occur on May 2007.
